Privacy Policy
We take privacy very importantly at Strive Marketing. This policy shows how we treat personal information in the clearest way possible. We encourage you to read this policy carefully.
1. Personal Information. Collection and Purpose
We collect personal information only when it is necessary for us to carry out one or more of our functions or activities. We collect information for the sole purpose of providing that information to a specific client or charity parties. The information collected in this way may be used but is not limited to direct marketing or fundraising undertaken for our charity partners. Information we collect may be different dependent on the nature of our interactions with you. These details may include your name, age, gender, telephone numbers, mailing or postal address, email addresses, and/or financial, banking and credit information.
If we are unable to contact donors, we may receive information about from third parties, if we do so and use such information for any reason it will only done in an appropriate manner. For example, we may verify a telephone number or email address by using a third-party matching service upon request by our charity clients.
We will only collect personal information directly in a lawful manner. We do not sell or disclose information with having permission to do so. Normally we will collect information directly from the person or persons.
2. The use and disclosure of your information
We will only use personal information for the reasons we collected it. These reasons and the parties to whom we might disclose it will be reasonably apparent to at the time we collect any information and our use and disclosure of such will be to provided to the relevant person or other parties with our fundraising and related services, unless we have obtained prior consent. If we are providing our services to one of our clients by collecting personal information, we will disclose on whose behalf we are collecting the information. Information may also be shared internally among the Strive Marketing group of companies, which may include companies outside of Australia, unless we are told otherwise. Any other use or disclosure we make of personal information will only be as required by law or permitted by the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
3. Strive Marketing Data security and Quality
We will take all reasonable steps to:
A. Ensure any personal information we collect, use or disclose is accurate, complete and up to date;
B. Protect information from any modification, loss or unauthorized access, misuse or disclosure;
C. Destroy or permanently de-identify the information if it is no longer needed for any purpose.
All Strive Marketing staff are trained in the processes of handling data, as outlined in this policy document as well as specifically for each individual campaign or project worked on.
4. Access to and correction of your information
If anyone would like access to any records of personal information, we have about them or if they believe any information, we have about them requires amending or correcting, they may contact us by email Admin@strivemarketing.com.au
5. Complaint about breach of Privacy Principles
If someone wishes to make a complaint about a breach of the Australian Privacy Principles (from 12 March 2020), they should contact our Privacy Officer via admin@strivemarketing.com.au
We will investigate any and all complaints thoroughly and seek further information if we need it and will contact them again to resolve the issue as best, we can. We will respond within 24 hours to acknowledge the complaint and seek to resolve the situation within 5 working days.

Subcontractor Confidentiality Policy
Here at Strive Marketing, and through our supply chain, we fundraise in the right way. We want our charity partners to get long-term support to make the amazing difference they want to in the world!
We want the best for our charity partners, and we are here to make a lasting difference through our work. Strive Marketing’s welcome call team, managers, office staff and team leaders do an amazing job of making sure we’re fundraising well, and everyone is happy at work but for this to happen we also need support of fundraisers! Strive Marketing expect our subcontracting partners to have the same level due care towards their employees and we do towards ours.
It is important that no one at Strive Marketing, nor anywhere in our supply chain, feels they cannot come forward regarding any issues they may have. We are here to support you and your staff. Always be aware that anyone can come forward with anything they believe to not be in the best interests of themselves, other fundraisers, Strive Marketing, our subcontracting partners, our charity partners or fundraising in general. This is a (non-exhaustive) list of potential serious matters to come forward about:
- Bullying
- Harassment
- Dishonest Fundraising
- Theft
- Destruction of Property
- Fraud
- PFRA Rule Breaches
- Sexism
- Racism
In the event of any of the above or any other serious matter feel free to come forward to your Team Leader or Line Manager, or Director. All conversations will remain private and confidential.
